Building Plymouth Argyle's Brand New Changing Rooms 2019
In the Spring of 2019 we were honoured to receive a contract through a large construction company to build the fantastic new changing rooms for Plymouth Argyle Football Club.
We built the changing rooms from the ground up utilising our brickwork and masonry experience to ensure Plymouth Argyle got the very best changing rooms to support their squad at home games.
The brick laying started in March 2019 and required completion within 7 weeks. We were proud to finish our work ahead of deadline.
We worked with a blue brick to provide a pleasing atheistic look that matched well with the green colours around the stadium.
6 inch concrete blocks were used for the internal walls where we then used the blue bricks to build up around the outside of the changing rooms for Plymouth Argyle.
We faced challenges around temperamental weather which meant we had to work fast and efficiently to keep on schedule for the club's deadline.
Another challenge we faced was around the backwall of the changings rooms where space was minimal. We overcame this challenge by overhand laying the bricks from the inside which provided a technical test for our brick layers.
